I have always had a mild case of acne, throughout my teens and early twenties. But after having my 3 babies in my mid-twenties, I thought for sure that I would outgrow acne. Well, I never did. As I headed toward my 30th birthday, I decided I really wanted to do something BIG for myself and that was conquor my acne. I thought in my head that "Moms" are not supposed to have zits. LOL - Long story short ... even though when you have young kids, the thought of actually spending money on yourself is the furthest thing from your mind, I talked about Proactive with my husband, and he talked about it with his mom. So for my 30th birthday present, they purchased three months worth of Proactive Solution for me. I was so thankful!
As the end of the first month of use came to a close, I had not stopped getting pimples, though they were much smaller (no big knots under the skin anymore), but the major difference I noticed was the texture of my face. It was so much softer, sooooo much softer, it totally reminded me of my own baby's face. Soft and Smooth! :)
After the second month pasted, I still got the ocassional zit, but I noticed that the zits cleared up a whole lot faster thatn they ever had before. Instead of sticking around for the better part of a week, if I dabbed a little Proactive mask on it at night, after just a day or two, the pimple was gone.
By the time my third month was up, I was completely hooked! I realize now that I can have whatever I want in life, but I have to work for it. If you want a flat belly, you have to exercise, :) and if you want clear skin, you have to "treat' it, with not only Proactive, but with patience as well. Being a new mom, learning the patience thing was a very valuable lesson.
Hope this helps you in your quest for clear skin.
